Tanner Morris has accepted the position of athletic communications graduate assistant. Morris previously served as an assistant at Milligan College during the 2016-17 season. Morris is a 2016 graduate of Missouri Baptist, where he played tennis and worked in the sports information office.

Ali Holmquist and Tim Hepler have accepted the positions of Athletics Media Relations Graduate Assistants for the 2017-18 year. Holmquist comes to Eastern Michigan after finishing her undergraduate degree at Alma College, while Helper completed his undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University.

Austin Bramley has accepted the position of athletic communications graduate assistant. A native of Sioux Falls, Bramley is a 2017 graduate of the University of Iowa where he spent three years working at KRUI-FM, serving two years as the sports director. He was the student voice of Hawkeye football and men's basketball and spent his final semester as an undergrad as a student assistant the athletic communications office as a secondary contact for the Hawkeye baseball team.

Kayla Peterson has been hired as graduate assistant. Peterson was a communications & media relations intern for the Chicago Sky of the WNBA and attended Bradley University.

Morgan Romans, a 2017 EKU graduate, named Assistant Communications Director. She will serve as the primary media contact for volleyball, men's tennis, women's tennis and softball. Morgan was a 2016 winner of the CoSIDA Fred Nuesch and Dave Wohlhueter Undergraduate Scholarship. FULL RELEASE

Evan Hooper and Jon Montoya have accepted the positions of Athletics Communications Assistants for the 2017-18 year. Hooper comes to Oregon State following a year at Minnesota State University Moorhead as the men’s basketball and volleyball contact. Montoya spent the past year at University of Denver as the volleyball and women’s lacrosse contact.

Athletic director Keith Hackett announced that UAA assistant athletic director for media relations Nate Sagan has resigned his position and will leave the department effective Sept. 1. FULL RELEASE

Cassidy Mace and Patrick Osborne named Media Relations Assistants. Mace is a 2017 graduate of Iowa State University and has served as the Cyclones’ gymnastics contact for the past three seasons. Osborne is a 2017 graduate of Oklahoma State University where he served as the Cowgirls’ softball contact for the past two seasons.
5.4.17 | Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
BJ Pickard was named Assistant Executive Director at the MIAC and will start his duties June 12. An alum of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and the University of Washington, Pickard will be responsible for the conference's sports information, website, scheduling, awards, official's payroll and various office management duties.
