Krech will continue his primary contact assignments with men’s basketball, women’s soccer and golf while adding office leadership and coordination duties. He previously worked in communications roles at Virginia Tech and North Florida and serves on the CoSIDA programming committee.

Marshall Fey has been hired as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Media Relations and Communications. Fey was at Northwest Missouri State for the past five years in the same role.

Sarah Meier has been named Associate Director for External Relations. She previously served as Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations at Fort Lewis College. FULL RELEASE

Erin Bean has returned to Saint Leo as Assistant Athletic Director for External Operations. She spent the past three years at South Florida. FULL RELEASE

Caroline Sobek has been hired as a new assistant director of athletics communications. Sobek most recently worked as a communications assistant at Boston College and previously worked as an intern at Minnesota. She will serve as JMU’s primary contact for volleyball, softball and swimming & diving.

Casey Grogan has been hired as the new sports information director. Grogan most recently served as the assistant commissioner for communications with the Northwest Conference and as the assistant sports information director at Pacific University. FULL RELEASE

Dominic Urrutia was named Athletics Donor Relations Officer. Urrutia was a 2015 CoSIDA Convention grant recipient and worked 9.5 years in athletics media relations as a student assistant, graduate assistant and assistant media relations director. FULL RELEASE
